Workshop 05
A Small Act of Light
A Fifth Light Workshop for Compassion With Boundaries
Compassion does not have to be dramatic. It can begin with one action that reduces harm, offers care, or makes a difficult moment more bearable. The word “light” in this title refers to a human act of care, not a power outside you.

Care That Can Be Lived
It is easy to admire compassion as an idea. It is harder to practice it in ways that are honest, sustainable, and wise.
Compassion is not self-erasure. It does not require unlimited access to you. It does not mean excusing harm, tolerating abuse, or taking responsibility for every need you can see.
Sometimes compassion is kindness. Sometimes it is rest. Sometimes it is telling the truth, protecting someone vulnerable, or refusing to participate in cruelty.
This workshop asks you to choose one small act that fits your actual capacity.
The goal is not to prove that you are good. The goal is to let care become real.
